These images were exposed on 4" x 5" film in a modern pinhole
camera. One of characteristics of this camera is that objects close and
far from the camera are in a similar level of focus. The dynamics of the
image are enhanced by having the camera close to the foreground rocks, making
them appear much larger than if one was standing viewing the scene.
Although the camera captures the image with the truth of the traditional
photographic method, the resulting scene has become stronger and more dramatic.
